And the Success continues on

The recently formed CVSFC made a fantastic start in our debut season of WAAFL football in 2011 winning the Grandfinal and backed it up in our second season by winning the C3 Grandfinal. No one would have thought this possible but certainly the committee’s goals were to move up the grades as quickly as possible and take advantage of the great depth of young talent at the club.

The club was formed by a dedicated bunch of parents out of the successful 2010 under 17’s team that went through that year undefeated to take out the premiership in the East Fremantle Districts Competition. Seven of those players have now won 3 Grand finals in  row.
Since then the committee under the guidance of Stewy Johnston has done a brilliant job to date getting the club up and running and fielding 3 sides this season in the C2 grade.

Steve “ JONAH” Jones the inaugural League Coach could not be happier after guiding the team to 2 consecutive GF wins will again take on the League Coaching role. After the departure of Kevin Presenza from the Reserves Coaching role we are pleased to have attracted Tony Wheatcroft to the club to take on the role. KP will be sadly missed but never forgotten having taken out the Best Clubman Award in 2011. This year Dave Hicks takes on the Colts Coaching role and will be well supported By Rhett Jones and Johnson Taylor who will also play for the League side again this season.

The club is looking forward to another succeful year and would like to thank all our sponsors and supporters for 2012 and look forward to your support once again in 2013. To all our supporters please help us by also supporting our sponsors. You can find links to our sponsors web sites by going to our sponsors page and clicking on the links.
