2012 – C3 Premiers

  • Canning Vale’s League side had a sensational season in the WAAFL C3 Grade competition, losing only one match (away to Armadale) in the process. The Cougars kicked their highest score in July against Coolbellup, when they kicked 42.18.270 in a 243 point win at Clifton Park. In the Grand Final at Mills Park, Canning Vale held off a determined SNESA by seven points to win back-to-back premierships and gain promotion to C2 Grade.
  • Daniel Spry won his second W.A.A.F.L. Fairest & Best Award for the club and once again took out the W.A.A.F.L./Canning Vale Fairest & Best double.

  • The Reserves side had an improved season under Kevin Presenza and reached the finals, but were eliminated by Dianella Morley by 10 points at Kingfisher Park. Key forward Duane Rochford kicked 98 goals to take out the W.A.A.F.L. Fairest & Best and Leading Goalkicker awards, as well as winning the Canning Vale Fairest & Best.
